Biography: Jason Peak
Jason Peek is the Engineering Administrator for the Department
of Transportation & Public Works for Athens Clarke County. He
is a licensed Professional Engineer and holds a Bachelor's degree
in Civil Engineering from Georgia Tech and masters degree in Regional
Planning from Clemson University. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D.
at UGA in Public Administration. He has worked as a civil engineer
for the last 10 years and his previous experience includes service
in Mali, West Africa with the Peace Corps, and private engineering
firms in Atlanta. His primary duties for Athens-Clarke County include
management and operations of the Engineering Division of Public
Works Department, which includes stormwater management, capital
construction and maintenance, and development review.
