Comprehensive Plan - Subcommittee Launch 2/3/2007

The Steering Committee for the Athens-Clarke County Comprehensive Plan would like to invite you to BE A PART of the Community Agenda and JOIN a subcommittee! On Saturday, February 3, 2007, the first organizational meetings of the subcommittees will launch the Community Agenda. These groups will continue work over the next six months, and:

• Provide a rare opportunity for the public to have significant input into the ACC Comp Plan, which is only updated every 10 years;
• Assure all voices will be heard;
• Engage with others who love Athens to shape our community's future!

Everyone is welcome! Attend any or all of the following meetings and please share this with others who may be interested:

9:00 - 10:00 Population
10:15 - 11:15 Economic Development
11:30 - 12:30 Environmental and Cultural Resources
LUNCH BREAK
1:30 - 2:30 Facilities & Services/Intergovernmental Cooperation
2:45 - 3:45 Housing
4:00 - 5:00 Land Use
5:15 - 6:15 Transportation
